Friends on the organforum.com suggested using an ADXL 345 accelerometer as a tilt sensor for expression pedals. Initial tests have been promising, and I plan to use these on the Rodgers 925 for expression and crescendo pedals. I envision sticking one little blue board under each pedal and talking to them from an encoder SPI port. At this point I don't know if I can use multiple Chip Select leads and keep the three accelerometers on a single encoder along with multiple I/O boards. Stay tuned. The cost is low, reliability should be higher than potentiometers, and the coding is straight forward.
